First off.. I am a huge fan of K.R.I.T as a producer and as a emcee.. all 3 of his recent mixtapes are great to me.. the first 2 arguably classics...The Vent is one of the illest songs I have ever heard.. so I was holding dude to high standards for his album.. and when I heard he got signed to Def Jam I knew it would affect his album in a negative way..So.. the album leaks.. which i will still buy on the 5th to support this dude no matter what..but I have to listen..I am a feen for music..So the intro comes on.. this spacy jazzy laid back beat pops off..thats the only way I know how to explain it.. I wish he really spit on this thats all I can say..but its dope.. move on... 2nd track.. title track..the beat is dope as fuck..K.R.I.T goes in as usual.. .one of my favorite tracks off the album .. this and Rich Dad , Poor Dad...next 2 tracks I skip..just my opinion.. but Cool 2 Be Southern..& his single I Got This.. are just album fillers to me.. this is what should of been thrown in his mixtapes..next track is Money On The Floor with 2 Chainz and 8 ball.. beat is aight.. track is ok..nothing special to me.. next track has a wack Ludacris verse on it.. but its a track for the hood rat bitches... My Sub pt 2 is next.. track is ok.. nothing special.. Don't Let Me Down however is another album standout .. track is dope.. nice hook.. K.R.I.T at his best...the album has about 5 or 6 more tracks after this that are either mediocre or skippers.. Rich Dad , Poor Dad my favorite track on the album.. .Pull Up f/ Big Sant & Bun B is a nice track..& If I Fall w/ Melanie Fiona is also dope.. but i was expecting something brilliant and what I got was a above average album for nowadays.. 5 - 7 nice tracks.. and the rest of the album is forgettable.. and i thought his 1st release would be solid.. I give it a 6.5/7out of 10...The hooks for the most part are lackluster .. the beats being sample free for the most part are average.. I thought Curren$y's Stoned Immaculate would be Disappointing.. but that album is actually better than this.. who would of thunk it.. the end...
