Weekly Rant 10/24/2012

O.k.. a couple things to talk about but 1st thing 1st.. Shyne... sit down over there.. yeah you had a good 1st album.. yeah Diddy did you dirty.. yes you came out of jail and tryed to get your career back but now you are probably one of the worst rappers i have ever heard ..yes you said you would vote for Romney..we kind of just sat here and acted like you didn't say that.. judging by how you look lately we kind of think you are border line insane...so we sat back ...wait a week or 2...and now you say KENDRICKS ALBUM IS TRASH?...I mean you can say what you wanna say but this is hiphop we are talking about.. and of all the shitty albums that do drop..you decide to hate on Kendrick's why? dude has grinded and made a name for himself.. i knew people were gonna start getting salty when he won lyricist of the year at the BET awards over Hov and Kanye...and Cole for that matter..because alot of these old ass rappers have egos to big to let them listen to new rappers so they probably didn't even know who he was...then he got a XXL rating for his album..and i knew the hate would grow even more...Kendrick made a great major label debut in my opinion..i know how these things go and he could have made a album like K.R.I.T's...no disrespect because I am a huge K.R.I.T fan but his album was almost garbage in my opinion and i have high expectations after all of those classic mixtapes..but Kendrick stuck to his guns....and gave us a great story beginning to end...I kept banging Money Tree so long it took me a while to even listen to the whole album... My only gripe is I wish Ab and School Boy were actually on the album instead of being thrown on remixes to songs we are tired of already...and the song with Mary J could of been way better.. but i understood why it was there.. it was a great ending to the album.. a happy way to go out..my advice is go and get it ..it is great..and i think it under appreciated at the moment..hiphop needs an artist like Kendrick...if i had to give it a grade i would say a 9 out of 10..its almost perfect... i can take the bonus tracks and take a few tracks off the album and make a unskippable CD...who else can drop an album like that.. Meek?... lets wait a day or 2 for it to leak and find out.. i think dude is talented by far my favorite artist in MMG..Wale is garbage.. the end...oh yeah.. watch Key & Peele tonight..its no Chappelle show but its funny as fuck...

Rap Beef..... Again...2012

First...Who Wants Scetti and Butter?.... The Honey Boo Boo shit is hilarious to me.. but people can talk all the shit they want about these hillbillies... but they genuinely love each other.. unlike some members in the rap game as of late.. and if im speaking on beef in hiphop you already know 50's name has to come up.. and it hasnt been just one story now its about 3.. it started off at an event of BET's .. apparently some of 50's crew.. who i will not call G-Unit if Yayo and Banks are not around.. got in a scuffle with some of MMG's camp.. GunPlay apparently caught an ass whooping and got his chain snatched.. 50 was then seen in a video bowling with it on.. Gunplay did some interviews speaking on it.. im just not that interested seeing that Gunplay is about to do life in prison for armed robbery.. that same night Jeezy's camp and Ross and his people almost got in a scuffle at the awards.. then Jeezy did an Interview to speak on the altercation they asked him about Gucci Mane and he called dude Retarded.. so Gucci dropped a track called "TRUTH" which i must say is hot as fuck.. and he has been throwing jabs at Jeezy and T.I ever since.. Alley Boy also chimed in on twitter saying he is gonna join forces with Gucci to run Jeezy out of the A..also Bleu Da Vinci dropped a track going at Jeezy ... so now Jeezy has a bunch of rap thugs going at him.. hopefully Gibbs is as tough as he says he is...now back to Curtis.. French Montana said some real shit about him on the radio about him burning alot of bridges in hip hop by beefing and it hurt his career.. and he said someone like Ross's career took off because he works with everyone.. 50 didn't like it went on a Twitter rant and im sure he is gonna use this to his advantage since he has an album coming soon.. and he will also love the fact that Dame Dash called him a Bully on twitter and told him to come pick on him... Ok Dame .. like you don't wish you were relevant again.. the end.

Rant Of The Week 9/18/2012

Ok....ok.... Lil Wayne dropped a garbage ass mixtape.. Dedication 4 is proof that this dude has switched ghost writers or has stopped trying.. the only verse i felt on the whole mixtape was his verse on the track with J.Cole....Why did 2 of the albums i was anticipating most this year come out.. and they both are garbage.. Slaughterhouse being one.. who when the group came together i thought this was a dream come true.. sign to EMINEM.. and i'm like alright this is a good look lets see where this goes.. drop a mixtape which was dope.. got me even more excited.. then drop a garbage ass album.. which maybe has 2 or 3 songs i will listen to.. this is just my opinion.. and i am a huge fan.. but look around.. I am not the only one.. alot of people are disappointed. 2nd.. G.O.O.D Musics album Cruel Summer.. which after Watch The Throne dropped and was one of the best albums last year... and after following all of the artist that are signed to Kanye's label and i thought Cyhi had potential.. Big Sean i usually hate but i heard his mixtape was aight.. Common is a legend.. John Legend is dope.. Pusha T is one of my favorite emcees out.. Mos Def and Q-Tip were not even showcased.. but he puts 2 Chainz on about 34 songs.. WTF.. maybe is he would stop prancing around in  endangered animal furs with the bitch who got famous for sucking cock.. he could concentrate on his artists.. and not himself....The only thing we have to look forward to is this new breed of hiphop.. Action Bronson.. Kendrick Lamar on the 22nd of OCT .. Curren$y who is always consistent... Big K.R.I.T .. whos album wasn't all that.. but always comes through.. Roc Marciano.. etc etc.. i can go on and on.. thank god for the internet.. or we would be forced to listen to this watered down bullshit.. all the time..

Weezy recently had an interview where he basically said he HATES NEW YORK... word Weezy? well that was a dumb maneuver seeing that i think you still think you are the SHIT.. but in reality. people are starting to give less of a fuck about you as time goes on.. your flow has gotten lazy.. maybe you switched ghost writers.. but you suck.. plain and simple.. lets see if this Dedication 4 mixtape can lift you up a little bit.. 2nd..this Eminem and Slaughterhouse record that just leaked... WHAT THE FUCK.. now i see why you gave us the mixtape.. which is GREAT by the way.. haven't took it out yet.. because you know the album is gonna be poppy and corny as fuck.. to tell you the truth i havent loved any song i have heard off of it yet.. and i am scared to listen to the snippets.. but who wants to hear that shit.. if you put 4 of the greatest emcees in a group and put them on a song with EM... we don't wanna hear no corny shit like that.  .   . . . . thats why EM is on 3 songs.. to make up for that shit...i called this weeks ago.. i said the mixtape was dropped to make up for this album.. it will be a disappointment..on another note.. Shyne leaked a Puffy diss.. who gives a shit.. Game dropped a corny single...and im waiting for that ACTION BRONSON & The Alchemist project.. expect to hear "Rare Chandeliers" soon... the end...oh yeah DJ Khaled dropped another album with 2 good songs on it.. my favorite being the track with Cole , K.R.I.T and Kendrick...and did anyone hear Busta's Free album? i didn't think so... oh that Slaughterhouse album leaked..

My Weekly Rant 8/15/2012

Ok quick update on where im at @ with the blog and all this hiphop shit.. I will start working more on the blog in the next few days... hiphop has been in a wack hiatus for a few weeks.. I mean a few Slaughterhouse leaks here and there.. & 2 Chainz album which i will get to in a minute.. and besides that im still bumping that DOMO and Alchemist and I am super hyped over ACTION BRONSON signing with Odd Future's Left Brain. So Whats New... more Twitter Beefs... most recently Miley Cyrus and Tyler The Creator.. which is lame... Kendrick and Lada Gaga have collabed and it will end up on his album.. which i hope they dont turn POP on my favorite new artist...NAS album has faded away.. still waiting on G.O.O.D music... 2 Chainz dropped an album that has became my guilty pleasure.. I don't like to admit that i like it.. but i find myself listening to it more and more.. dude makes words rhyme that have no business rhyming... he is a genius.. because he knows how dumb he needs to make his music to sell.. he has mastered the recipe.. and on some tracks he even makes me think he could be alot better if he wanted to...so the summer is ending at a very slow pace.. but i think we will get a few gems in the fall.. so far 2012 has been an ok year..better than 2011 in my opinion.. but it had so much potential 6 months ago.. lets wait and see...
