First Off.. I am not a HUGE Curren$y fan.. I do think the internet world Over Rates the dude.. but I am a fan.. and I think Ski Beats produced Pilot Talk 1 & 2 are his best projects along with The Alchemist produced Covert Coup... when he drops mixtapes rhyming over other peoples beats.. it doesn't do anything for me..he is not lyrical enough to just take someone elses beat and make it better... so The Stoned Immaculate was announced I was excited.. but not as excited as I was for Big K.R.I.T's album dropping on the same day (June 5th)... I would soon change my mind... This album is nice.. I don't know if its great yet.. but its good.. let me get a few weeks into this then I will tell you...Let me start off with the Bad since there isn't alot to talk about.. the album starts off bad in my opinion because of the Wale feature .. and the song to me is just the label saying you need a single.. I will skip this song everytime..the other single with Daz is garbage besides that its a pretty solid album...once you get past track number 1... Curren$y takes the album into his comfort zone .. Privacy Glass.. Armoire f/ Roddy & Trademark,...Take You There...Showroom which is one my favorite tracks on the album..Capitol f/ 2 Chainz.. ...No Squares f/ Wiz Khalifa...Sunroof f/ Cornerboy P..Chasin Paper..etc etc..besides Fast Cars Faster Women... the rest of the album is pretty much solid..Audio Dope 3 is nice.. and he ends the album off perfectly with a posse cut..overall the production is solid.. and Curren$y doesn't pull a Wiz Khalfa and do a soft ass Popcorn album..Its no Pilot Talk.. Or Covert Coup for that matter.. but he does a commercial album the Curren$y way.. my only other complaint is the beat on Jet Life a track featuring Big K.R.I.T & Wiz.. when I seen this on the tracklisting I got excited.. and it was underwhelming...I give this album a good 8/10 ... so get some loud.. some papers.. some dutches.. whatever.. light up and enjoy.. and do yourself a favor and get some of these...
